Department of Marketing
Overview
The Department of Marketing cultivates accomplished scholars and managers who guide and command best practices in the marketing profession. Renowned for our pioneering research and education leadership, we have developed both areas of managerial marketing and big data marketing, providing undergraduate students with a unique quantitative marketing concentration, a big data stream for postgraduate students as well as a diversified research areas for research students.
The Department’s research focuses on both quantitative and behavioural approaches, allowing academics and students to gain critical insights and to unlock and solve complex marketing issues. Our research, which is regularly published in important marketing, business, and psychology journals, covers a wide range of behavioral and analytical marketing issues, particularly the continued development of the Hong Kong and Chinese economies.
